In today’s world, there are many different ways we learn and understand information and acquire knowledge. A substantial mode of learning in this technology-based, media-rich environment we live in, takes place visually for many learners. However, there is an under representation of these types of learners in the classroom because of the limited access to visually-rich resources that benefit them. The authors of LIFE SCIENCE For Visual Learners, Sarah Jane Edward-Sebeni and Vidya Sudarsan, are passionate about promoting awareness on the increasing need for accessibility to more visual content-based resources for such learners. They know the challenges that educators and parents face in teaching students whose primary mode of learning is visual, and this has led them to create a method of content delivery for better understanding that benefits all visual learners.
